14-Year-Old Bella Leung Found Safe in Minnetonka, MN After Community-Wide Search

Minnetonka, MN – The 14-year-old Bella Leung, who was reported missing on August 6, 2024, has been found safe, bringing immense relief to her family and the Minnetonka community. Bella was last seen around 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, near the 3200 block of Grand Avenue South in South Minneapolis after leaving her home in Minnetonka.

Bella, described as 5’2” tall with long, wavy black hair and brown eyes, had been missing for two days, sparking a widespread search effort. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jean shorts. Her disappearance prompted her father and community members to rally together in an effort to locate her. Despite tireless searching and alerting the police, the family reported a lack of substantial response from law enforcement.

On August 8, 2024, Bella was found safe, much to the relief of her family and the many who were concerned about her well-being. Minnesota United, a community organization, confirmed the news on Facebook, expressing gratitude for the public’s help in sharing information and offering support.

Penny Burau shared on Facebook, "So glad she was found safe!" while Mary Thee Shortie expressed, "Amen, God is good." These sentiments echoed the collective sigh of relief felt across the community.

Bella’s family has requested that posts about her disappearance be updated or removed to protect her privacy moving forward. They have also expressed their deep appreciation for the outpouring of love and support from the community during this difficult time.

The family and the Minnetonka community remain grateful for everyone who played a part in bringing Bella home safely.
