West Plains, Missouri – The Howell County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory following the disappearance of 17-year-old Abigail Katherine Lawless. She was last seen at 10807 County Road 9470 in West Plains, Missouri, at midnight on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Abigail Lawless, described as a white female standing 5’09" tall and weighing 162 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, left a note stating she felt better off living on her own. Authorities believe she may be traveling to Kansas City, Missouri, with an unknown individual she met online.
The Sheriff’s Department urges anyone with information regarding Abigail’s whereabouts to immediately contact law enforcement by dialing 911 or calling the Howell County Sheriff’s Department at (417) 256-2544.
