Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – A tragic accident claimed the life of 7-year-old Jeremiah Falgout after he was struck by a school bus in Terrebonne Parish. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Thursday on LA-665, when Falgout was hit by the bus shortly after being dropped off. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
According to authorities, the bus had just stopped in the 500 block of LA Hwy 665 to drop off children, including Falgout. After the drop-off, the bus resumed moving, tragically hitting the young boy. The Terrebonne Parish School District has expressed its condolences to the family and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the student’s family and the bus driver involved,” stated the district in a Facebook post.
