Amory, Mississippi – The community of Amory is mourning the sudden and unexpected loss of Abubakr M Turner. Abubakr, described as a kind and respectful individual, passed away recently, leaving his family and friends in deep shock and grief.
A fundraiser has been launched by Abubakr’s niece, Yasmine Turner, to help cover the expenses of his funeral. Yasmine shared that Abubakr did not have burial or life insurance, making this support essential for the family. As of today, $325 has been raised towards the $2,000 goal, with contributions from three donors: Dominique Mayfield, who donated $125, and Fadeelah Williams and Kenneth Mayfield, who each donated $100.
On social media, many have expressed their sorrow and disbelief at Abubakr’s passing. Pragya Rathore posted, "I still can’t believe this is real. You were one of the kindest and most respectful people I’ve ever known. It feels so sudden and unreal to lose you. Rest in Peace Abubakr M Turner."
