Ragland, West Virginia – Alice Faye Hannah, a beloved resident of Ragland, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, August 25, 2024. She was 53 years old.
Alice was born on July 10, 1971, to Alton and the late Linda Hannah. She was well-known in her community for her two decades of dedicated service at The Steakhouse in Williamson. Alice was a loving and caring individual, cherished by many for her outgoing personality and selfless nature.
Alice is survived by her father, Alton Ray Hannah, and her daughters, Jeanetta Horn, Lyndsey Vinson, Stephanie Maynard, and Raylee Maynard. She was also a proud grandmother to several grandchildren.
The community has expressed deep sorrow over her passing. Dorothy Hickman shared on Facebook, “Praying for her family. She was so sweet.” Yvette Chambers Justice added, “Sending love and prayers to her family. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her.” Many others echoed these sentiments, offering prayers and condolences to Alice’s family and friends.
Visitation for Alice will take place at Chafin Funeral Home in Delbarton, West Virginia, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a service at 7:00 PM. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM, followed by her burial at the Hannah Family Cemetery in Marrowbone, West Virginia.
