Amber Alert Issued for Zayin Plummer and Siblings in Virginia Beach Following Mother’s Stabbing

Virginia Beach, Virginia – The Virginia Beach Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for three young children—Zayin Plummer, 5; Zayir Plummer, 3; and Za’riyah Plummer, 16 months—who were abducted after a violent incident on Wednesday night. The children were taken by their father, 36-year-old Dana Demetrius Plummer, following the stabbing of their mother at around 9 p.m. on Jay Are Court.

The suspect fled the scene in a Honda Passport with Virginia temporary tags 37550R and is believed to be heading in an unknown direction. Authorities have classified the children as being in extreme danger and are actively searching for them and the suspect.

Community members have taken to social media to express their concern and prayers for the children’s safe return. Clifton Earl Hardy posted, "Praying," while Monica Parker shared her thoughts just an hour ago. A dedicated discussion group has also been set up on Facebook by Karena Thomas to provide updates and discussions on the ongoing case.

The Virginia Beach Police Department urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dana Plummer, the children, or the vehicle to contact them immediately at (757) 385-4101 or dial 911.

This situation has gripped the local community, with many hoping for the quick and safe recovery of the young children.
