Angel’s family, including his wife Britney, had been deeply affected by his condition, as they worked to adjust to a new normal. Britney had taken on the role of Angel’s full-time caregiver, facing immense challenges as they navigated this difficult period. The family had been in need of assistance with monthly bills, medical care, and securing a wheelchair-accessible van to facilitate Angel’s transportation to his numerous appointments.

A memorial service and celebration of Angel’s life will take place on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the All Faiths Funeral Home, with Reverend Gene Arnold and Daniel Naranjo leading the ceremony. Following the service, Angel will be laid to rest at the Grand Island City Cemetery with military honors, a tribute to his service, performed by the United States Navy and the Grand Island Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together, offer their condolences, and pay their respects.
