Anne Louise Whipple House, 91, of Hamilton, Mississippi, Passes Away; Memorial Service to Be Held

Hamilton, Mississippi – The community of Hamilton is mourning the loss of Anne Louise Whipple House, who passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the age of 91. Anne was a beloved figure in her community, known for her deep faith, love for her family, and dedication to her church.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on October 20, 1932, Anne was the daughter of Lyle Whipple and Marie Cardwell Whipple. She lived a full life, serving as a homemaker and being deeply involved in her church, Healing Waters Christian Fellowship. Anne’s love for her family, friends, and her faith was evident in everything she did. She was remembered as a leader, teacher, mentor, and inspiration to many.

Anne had a variety of interests, including crocheting, playing checkers, and tending to her beloved blueberry and rose bushes. She also had a fondness for chocolate, motorcycles, and roller skating. Her time working at Buxton’s Jewelry Store was a testament to her work ethic and commitment to her community.

Anne is survived by her son, David Ray House, and three daughters, Merry Lee House Thompson (Donald), Deborah Lynn House Jacobs (Larry), and Elaine Margaret House. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives, all of whom are grieving the loss of their beloved matriarch.

A memorial service to honor Anne’s life will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Healing Waters Christian Fellowship in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Friends and family are invited to attend and share in remembering the remarkable life of Anne Louise Whipple House.

In a recent post on Facebook, her granddaughter Tiffany Thompson Markham shared her grief, writing, "My beautiful Granny," expressing the deep love and admiration she had for her grandmother.

Anne’s legacy is one of love, faith, and dedication, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family invites those who wish to offer condolences to visit the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Homes website.
