The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at an off-campus residence in Russellville. According to the Russellville Police Department, Poole was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jack Poole was a beloved member of both his local community and the ATU family. A 2023 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Morrilton, Poole was known for his dedication to academics and his compassionate nature. As a nursing major, he was deeply committed to pursuing a career in healthcare, driven by a passion for helping others.
