Aurora, Illinois — The Aurora Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 13-year-old Jesus Vega, who has been reported missing since August 11, 2024. Jesus was last seen on August 21 in the vicinity of Jackson and North, though his contact with family has been limited and he remains away from home.
Jesus Vega is described as 5’05", weighing 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Aurora Police Investigations at 630-256-5500.
The community has expressed their concern on social media, with many sharing their thoughts and prayers. Paulette Amaya, Tere Hernandez, and Miguel Vega have all posted messages of support, with Miguel Vega simply stating, "Prayers." Sandi Jones shared the post, while Yvonne Larson added her own support by sharing it in Montgomery, Illinois. Creasie Lewis offered "Continual prayers," while Debra Byers expressed worry, commenting, "Hope he’s ok…kinda young to be out there."
