Hilton Head Island, South Carolina — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 60-year-old Stanley Kotowski, who has been missing since Friday, August 16, 2024. Stanley was last seen leaving his family’s vacation rental at 226 South Sea Pines Drive around 10:30 A.M. that morning.
Stanley Kotowski, a resident of Hilton Head Island with a distinctive Boston accent, was last seen wearing a Coors Light t-shirt, blue shorts, and no shoes. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has short brown hair.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has been actively searching for Stanley since his disappearance was reported. A recent update as of 11:15 A.M. on August 17 confirmed that the search is ongoing. The Sheriff’s Office released a ring camera image of Stanley just before he went missing, showing him with the wagon visible behind him.
In a Facebook post, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reiterated their plea for anyone with information about Stanley’s whereabouts to contact their non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777. The family, deeply concerned for his safety, hopes that his recognizable accent will aid in his identification and return.
