The news of Bruce’s passing was shared by Cooma’s Original Hotbake, which also announced the unfortunate closure of the beloved bakery due to this loss. The team expressed their gratitude to their loyal customers for the support over the past 33 years, asking for privacy during this difficult time.

Tributes have poured in on social media, reflecting the deep impact Bruce had on the community. Caroline Fox expressed her "heartfelt sympathy" to Bruce’s family and the team at the bakery.
