Her daughter, Ola Jacobs Osakue, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the costs of transporting Esther from Edmonton to Montreal, a city she held dear, and to arrange a funeral that befits the loving woman she was. The fundraiser, which was created today, has raised $660 out of a $15,000 goal through eight donations so far. Donations have been made by several individuals, including Francesca Pecora, who contributed $50, and Katia Etienne, who donated $100.
Ola Jacobs expressed her heartbreak in a message shared with supporters, stating, "We are raising funds to help with the cost of transporting my mother from Edmonton to Montreal, as well as covering the funeral expenses that will allow us to give her the loving farewell she deserves."
