Largo, Florida – Carol Burmood, a cherished mental health counselor and dedicated family member, passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on September 1, 1953, Carol devoted her life to serving others, loving deeply, and making a significant impact on all who knew her.
In the wake of her passing, a fundraiser has been organized by her son-in-law, Stephen Tessitore, to honor Carol’s legacy and support her family. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $10,000 to cover funeral, burial, and other associated expenses. Stephen Tessitore initiated the GoFundMe campaign, emphasizing the outpouring of love and support the family has received during this difficult time.
Carol’s memory lives on through her husband, Dean Burmood; her daughter, Ali Tessitore; her son-in-law, Stephen Tessitore; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Ella, and Emme. The family is committed to continuing Carol’s legacy of love, compassion, and dedication.
Services for Carol will be held at 3 PM on September 1st at Harborside Christian Church in Safety Harbor, Florida.
