Bettendorf, Iowa – The Bettendorf Police have identified 18-year-old Carter Fix as the victim in a tragic car accident that occurred on Friday, August 16th, on 15th Street. The accident, which took place in the 700 block, involved a collision between the vehicle Fix was riding in and a parked car on the east side of the street.
Fix, a resident of Bettendorf, was taken to a nearby hospital following the crash but succumbed to his injuries. The 19-year-old male driver, who also resides in Bettendorf, sustained minor injuries and was also transported to a local hospital.
