Bev passed away on August 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and hard work that significantly shaped the club’s success and reputation.

Bev Morton’s involvement with the Betoota Race Club began decades ago, and she remained a central figure until her retirement in 2017. Her relentless dedication and unwavering commitment were instrumental in the growth and prosperity of the club, which has become an integral part of the local community.

In response to her passing, the Betoota Race Club expressed their deep sadness and gratitude for all that Bev contributed over the years. "Bev’s legacy will always be remembered with gratitude.
