Brian Michael Evans of Aston, PA, Formerly of Chester, PA, Passes Away at Age 44

Aston, Pennsylvania – The Aston Township Fire Department and the local community are mourning the loss of Brian Michael Evans, an honorary member of the fire department and a beloved resident of Aston, PA. Brian, 44, passed away at home on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Brian was well-known in his community, having attended CADES School and participated in its adult program for over three decades. His involvement in the Aston Township Fire Company #17 marked him as a valued member of the local emergency services, and his joyous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Brian enjoyed swimming, going on field trips, and riding on the back of his father’s motorcycle.

The Aston Township Fire Department expressed their grief over Brian’s passing, noting his ability to bring smiles and laughter to everyone around him. They asked the community to keep the Evans family in their thoughts and prayers.

Brian is survived by his parents, Ronald and Linda Ann Evans, and his brother, Ronald “Neeky” Evans, Jr. He also leaves behind nieces, extended family members, and a community that will deeply miss him.

A visitation for Brian Michael Evans is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home in Media, PA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to CADES in Swarthmore, PA, in lieu of flowers.

On Facebook, friends and community members shared their condolences. Karen Ogden McCourt wrote, “Thoughts and Prayers for All of You. RIP Brian. Always fun to be around especially at our BBQ party. God Bless All the Evans Family.” Another friend, Anna Huss Casciato, shared, “God Bless the entire Evans family. He was such a sweet soul. Prayers for comfort and peace.” Other messages of sympathy came from Tara Cavaliere, Wendi Imhof, Rose A Lee, and Gregory Journey, all expressing their sorrow and support for Brian’s family and the fire department.

Brian Michael Evans will be remembered for his vibrant personality, love for life, and the positive impact he had on those around him.
