Carol Rhoads, a beloved mother, teacher, and cherished member of her community, passed away late last night after a brief but courageous fight with cancer. Her daughter, Karen Clark, shared the heartbreaking news on social media, expressing the deep loss felt by all who knew her.

"I’m heartbroken. My sweet mama, Carol Rhoads, passed away late last night after a short fight with cancer. Anyone who knew her described her as sweet, positive, and loving. She loved to cook and bake, way more than we ever needed for one sitting!" Karen wrote in a touching tribute on Facebook. "She was an amazing teacher that impacted generations, and she always loved her students and colleagues. We were blessed to have the time we had with her. Now, she is able to join my dad in heaven. You’ll be forever missed, Mom. Love you bunches."
