Cedarhurst Mourns the Passing of Ariel Weinstock, Beloved Community Member, at Age 42

Cedarhurst, New York – The Cedarhurst community is mourning the loss of Ariel Weinstock, a cherished resident, who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the age of 42. Ariel, known for his kindness, intelligence, and warmth, left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Born on July 3, 1982, Ariel Weinstock was a beacon of positivity in his community. His ability to light up any room with his smile and his genuine care for others made him a beloved figure. Friends and family remember him as not only a friend and confidant but also someone who significantly impacted their lives through his thoughtful actions and engaging conversations.

The circumstances surrounding Ariel’s death have not been publicly disclosed, but his passing has deeply affected those close to him. On social media, heartfelt messages of condolence have poured in, with many expressing their grief and the profound loss felt by the community.

Eileen Weinstock, Ariel’s relative, shared on Facebook, "After beating all the odds since his accident on June 8, 2023, my heart is broken to share that our beloved Ariel passed away today." The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, at 2:30 PM at Boulevard-Riverside Chapel, located at 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY. Shiva will be observed at the family’s home in Cedarhurst until Friday, August 23.

Others in the community have also expressed their sorrow. Michael E Beer commented, "Bde. So sorry to hear. Ariel fought to come back, and it was good to see him a few weeks ago at the kiddish." Rivka Wineberg echoed the sentiment, "BDE. I am heartbroken for you and your family for your loss."
