Chester Brown Dies in Fatal Kansas City Shooting, Family Warns Against Fraudulent Fundraisers

Kansas City, Missouri – Chester Brown, 35, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting that took place early Saturday morning near 39th Street and Central Street in Kansas City. The incident, which also left two others injured, has shocked the community and prompted a stern warning from Brown’s family regarding fraudulent fundraising efforts.

The shooting occurred just before 3:30 a.m. when a group of people was gathered outside a business in the area. When police arrived at the scene, Brown was found gravely wounded and was pronounced dead before reaching the hospital. The two other victims, a man and a woman, were also injured and sought medical treatment at a nearby hospital. They are expected to recover.

As news of Brown’s death spread, several individuals took to Facebook to express their shock and sadness. Katrice Hubbard described the situation as "so horrible," while Rachelle Wallace reacted by saying, "Wow!! That’s insane smh."

In the wake of this tragedy, Chester Brown’s family has issued a public statement urging the community not to donate to any GoFundMe pages claiming to support his family. According to Donesha Brown, who posted on Facebook, the family has not set up any fundraising page and will not be doing so. The family is asking people to share this information to prevent others from falling victim to potential scams.
