Chicago Mourns the Loss of Maghrib Association Member Abellah Firdaous from Morocco, Funeral Scheduled at MCC

Abellah Firdaous, a respected member of the Maghrib Association of North America and originally from Morocco, has passed away in Chicago. The community is grieving the loss of a cherished member whose life was marked by his dedication to faith and commitment to the community.

The Maghrib Association of North America expressed deep sorrow over Abellah Firdaous’s passing. In a heartfelt post, they prayed for his forgiveness and eternal peace, asking Allah to grant him a place in Jannat al-Firdous and to provide patience to his grieving family, friends, and relatives.

The community is invited to attend the Salat Al-Janaza, the funeral prayer, which will be held tomorrow, Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Muslim Community Center (MCC) following the Zuhr prayer at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place immediately afterward.

In expressing their condolences, many shared their thoughts on social media. The Maghrib Association of North America posted, “We pray that Allah Subhanaho wa thaala may forgive his sins and grant him a place in Jannat al Firdous. We pray to Allah SWT to give patience to his family, relatives, and friends.”

Facebook user Abdu Barkat commented, "To God we belong and to God we return. My god bless." Another user, Omar J. Al-Qudah, added, "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un, May Allah SWT have mercy on him and accept all of his good deeds, and forgive his shortcomings, enter him into the highest level of paradise with no reckoning, and make it easy for his family and beloved ones."

The community remembers Brother Abellah Firdaous for his unwavering commitment to Islamic values and his positive impact on those around him. His son, Mahdi, is available for anyone wishing to express condolences or seek information on Azaa (condolences) arrangements.

As Chicago prepares to bid farewell to Abellah Firdaous, the community reflects on his life and contributions, finding solace in their faith during this time of loss.
