Chippewa Falls Mourns the Loss of Joan Robarge, Beloved Community Pillar and Advocate for Youth

Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin – The community of Chippewa Falls is deeply saddened by the passing of Joan Robarge on August 19, 2024. Joan’s departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished by many.

Joan Robarge was a beacon of kindness and generosity in Chippewa Falls. Known for her unwavering commitment to family, friends, and local causes, she dedicated her life to making a positive impact on the community. Her involvement in various charitable endeavors, from volunteering at local shelters to participating in fundraisers, highlighted her deep sense of responsibility and compassion.

Joan was not only a dedicated community member but also a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family fondly remembers her as a guiding light, always ready with encouragement and wisdom. She took great pride in her family’s achievements and was a constant source of love and support.

In honor of Joan’s legacy, a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 30th, at Harvestime Church in Eau Claire. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., offering an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate her life.

Joan’s impact will continue to resonate in the lives of those she touched. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has requested donations to the Community Foundation of Chippewa County in her memory. An endowment scholarship fund will be established in Joan’s name to support Christian education in the Chippewa Valley, reflecting her lifelong dedication to empowering the youth.

As the Chippewa Falls community gathers to honor Joan Robarge’s memory, her spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love will continue to inspire future generations.
