Mount William, Nova Scotia – Christina Kennedy, along with her friend Kim Colburn, tragically lost their lives in a devastating car accident on Highway 106 in Mount William, Nova Scotia. The incident occurred late Sunday night, August 11, 2024, and has left their families and community in deep mourning.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Nova Scotia reported that the collision happened at approximately 10:45 p.m. Both vehicles involved were fully engulfed in flames when emergency services arrived at the scene. My sister, Kim D. Colburn, and her friend Christina Kennedy (Tina) were taken Sunday night in this motor vehicle collision. The only consolation is that it was instant and they were with each other."

The loss of Christina Kennedy and Kim Colburn has resonated deeply within the community, with many taking to social media to share their condolences. Jolanta Grossman commented, "So sorry my darling for your terrible loss," while Roseanne MacIsaac added, "So sorry Janice, both were wonderful ladies. Hugs."

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and the RCMP has yet to release further details about the vehicles involved or the exact circumstances leading up to the collision.
