Church Point Community Mourns the Loss of Heather Olivier, Beloved Resident, and Cherished Member of Turning Point Church

Church Point, Louisiana – The Church Point community is mourning the loss of Denise Heather Olivier, a deeply cherished member whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of many. Heather, a resident of Church Point, Louisiana, passed away recently, leaving behind a profound legacy of love and dedication.

A memorial service to honor Heather Olivier will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Turning Point Church, located at 166 Montclair Road. The service, beginning at 2 p.m., will bring together family, friends, and community members to celebrate Heather’s life and offer support to her loved ones during this time of grief.

Heather’s passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew her. Turning Point Church, where Heather found solace and community, will serve as the gathering point for this poignant occasion. The service will provide an opportunity for attendees to share their memories, offer condolences, and find comfort in each other’s company.

In a touching Facebook post, Patricia Leger Olivier expressed her deep sorrow, writing, "My heart aches so…" The community has rallied around the Olivier family, with numerous messages of support flooding in. Katie B. Bergeron shared, "Oh Mrs. Pat, we are praying so hard for you and the family," while Erica Clavier Thibodeaux added, "I am so sorry for your loss."

The outpouring of love and support continued with comments from other friends and community members. Stephanie Aldred wrote, "I’m so sorry, I have no words. I just wanna hug you. We love y’all so much." Angie Guidry Bellard added, "Praying for you and your family. My heart is broken for all of you."

In lieu of flowers, Heather’s family has suggested that donations be made to a charity of choice that reflects Heather’s passions and values, ensuring that her spirit of giving and kindness lives on.

Heather Olivier’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched and the love she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her.
