Clayton County Police Issue Mattie’s Call for Missing Woman Kishia Johnson in Jonesboro, Georgia

Kishia Johnson, a resident of Jonesboro, Georgia, has been reported missing, prompting the Clayton County Police Department to issue a Mattie’s Call in an urgent effort to locate her. The alert was triggered after Johnson, who was under a 1013 hold at a local facility, left the premises without permission on Sunday morning.

According to the report filed by Nurse Diana Silva, who was responsible for Johnson’s care, the 39-year-old was last seen around 7:31 AM at the facility located at 11 Upper Riverdale in Jonesboro. Johnson was diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia and experiences auditory hallucinations, making her disappearance particularly concerning.

Johnson was last seen wearing purple hospital scrubs. She is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The Clayton County Police Department responded to the missing person report at 9:32 AM on Sunday and has since been actively searching for Johnson. Authorities are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3550 or dial 911 immediately.

In response to the situation, community members and groups have taken to social media to spread awareness. Josie Galvin, a member of "The Vanished & Missing International Group," shared the information about Johnson’s disappearance, helping to amplify the search efforts.

The community is urged to stay vigilant and report any sightings or information that could assist in bringing Kishia Johnson home safely.
