Community in Dry Ridge, Kentucky Urgently Seeks Help in Locating Missing 13-Year-Old Elizabeth Kidwell

Dry Ridge, Kentucky – The community is on high alert as the search for 13-year-old Elizabeth Kidwell intensifies. Elizabeth was last seen in the area of Revive Church at 2020 Taft Highway, wearing black jean-type pants and a grey hoodie. The authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.

Grant County Emergency Management, along with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, issued a Missing Person Alert on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The alert has spread rapidly through social media, with many expressing their concern and hope for Elizabeth’s safe return. Cody Kidwell, a family member, posted on Facebook, urging the community to share the alert widely: "Please Share!!! This is my niece."

The post quickly garnered attention, with several community members responding. Brandi Scroggins commented, "Prayers she is found safe!" while Tammy Bridges Metcalf added, "Praying she’s found soon." Pamela Patton also joined in, stating, "Shared in Harrodsburg."

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Elizabeth’s whereabouts to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 6 at 859-428-1212. The community’s support and vigilance are crucial in bringing Elizabeth home safely.
