Community in Ilesha Ibaruba Baruten Local Government, Kwara State, Pleads for Help in Finding Missing Mother, Rofiat Oyewumi

Rofiat Oyewumi, a 35-year-old mother, has been missing since July 2024, leaving her family and community in deep distress. Known affectionately as "Iya Umar," Rofiat was last seen in the Ilesha Ibaruba area of Baruten Local Government, Kwara State, along with her child. Despite numerous attempts, there has been no contact with her, raising concerns about her safety.

The Sakilomowa Rescue Mission (SRM) has issued an urgent missing person alert, urging the public to assist in locating Rofiat. She is described as having a fair complexion and a distinctive tribal mark on her face. The mission is pleading with anyone who has information about her whereabouts to come forward.

The community has also taken to social media to express their worries and hopes for her safe return. Rasap Malik Adebayo shared his sadness about the situation, while Yakubu Waliu expressed his faith, saying, "She will back inshallah." These messages reflect the collective anxiety and hope within the community as they await news of Rofiat and her child.
