Community Mourns the Loss of Zhane Currie in Bli Bli, Queensland, as Fundraiser Seeks Support for Funeral Expenses

Bli Bli, Queensland – The community of Bli Bli is rallying around the family of Zhane Currie, who has recently passed away, leaving a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Zhane was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, and a dedicated friend, whose memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In the wake of this tragic loss, a GoFundMe page has been organized by Kulanda Jones to help the family cover the expenses associated with Zhane’s funeral and memorial services. The fundraiser, titled "In Loving Memory of Zhane Currie," has set a goal of $12,000 AUD. As of today, $400 AUD has been raised through the generosity of five donors.

Kulanda Jones, who is spearheading the fundraising efforts, shared, "It is with heavy hearts that we reach out to seek your support during this difficult time. We have recently lost Zhane Currie, and as we navigate through this loss, we are also faced with the financial burden of arranging a fitting farewell."

Donations have been coming in steadily, with contributions ranging from $50 to $100 AUD. Donors such as Maneisha Jones, Iesha Nixon, Mitchell Currie, Dachelle Davis, and Belinda Lee have shown their support within the past few hours.

On Facebook, the grief and solidarity of the community are evident as individuals share their condolences and urge others to help. Alicia Finlay, in a heartfelt post, wrote, "Anyone please help my cousin and her family as this family have been through a lot."

The family and friends of Zhane Currie are deeply appreciative of the outpouring of love and support during this challenging time. For those unable to contribute financially, the sharing of the GoFundMe page, along with thoughts and prayers, are equally valued as the community comes together to honor Zhane’s memory.

The fundraiser remains open for donations, and the family continues to hope that they can give Zhane the dignified farewell he deserves.
