Her leadership and guidance were pivotal in the church’s activities and in supporting its members.

Her work with the church’s Unity Circle and as a Sunday School teacher left a lasting impact, particularly on the many children whose spiritual lives she helped to nurture.
In addition to her religious commitments, Mary Ellen had a successful career at JCPenney, where she served as a Catalog Supervisor. She was respected for her professionalism and dedication, which mirrored the same values she brought to her church and community work.
