Fort Kent, Maine – The Fort Kent community is coming together in an urgent search for McClaren "Mickey" McBreairty, who has been missing since he went fishing on Thursday morning. Mickey, a beloved local, was last seen at the Allagash Checkpoint for the Northern Maine Woods, driving his Silver Ford F-150. Concerns grew after he failed to return home last night.
The Fort Kent Police Department issued a Missing Person Alert, asking for the public’s help to locate Mickey. They urge anyone with information to contact them at 207-834-5678 or the Maine Warden Service at 207-532-5400.
The community has shown overwhelming support on social media, sharing their thoughts and prayers for Mickey’s safe return. Darlene Chadbourne posted, "Praying," while Linda Theriault echoed with, "Prayers." Heather Berube expressed her frustration, saying, "I wish I hadn’t had this surgery, I’d be out helping looking for him."
