Community of Hay Mourns the Passing of Barbara Gee, A Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother

Hay, New South Wales – The community is deeply saddened by the loss of Mrs. Barbara Anne Gee (née Eason), affectionately known as Barb, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 81. Barb was a cherished wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched many lives.

Barbara Gee was the devoted wife of George Gee and the loving mother of Simon, Lisa, and Allan. As a grandmother, she held a special place in the hearts of Dale, Corey, Josh, and Sam. Her passing has left a significant void in the lives of her family and the wider community.

A graveside service in honor of Barbara Gee will be held at the Hay Cemetery on Tuesday, August 20th, commencing at 11 a.m. Family, friends, and all who knew Barb are invited to attend the service to pay their respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.
