According to the preliminary investigation, the crash occurred when the driver of a BMW lost control of the vehicle, causing it to fishtail and cross the center line. An Audi, traveling in the opposite direction, collided with the BMW’s rear driver’s side. Retika, who was a passenger in the BMW, was transported to a local hospital by family members who were near the crash site but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The child, also a passenger in the BMW, remains in critical condition.
