Community of Richland, Missouri, Mourns the Passing of Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Warren at Age 72

Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Warren, a beloved resident of Richland, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was 72 years old.

Beth’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and friends. A visitation in her honor is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Richland Methodist Church in Richland, Missouri. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., with burial to take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in Richland. The Memorial Chapel of Richland is overseeing the arrangements.

Beth is survived by her husband, Dr. Barton L. Warren II, and their four children: Mary Elizabeth Meunier of Richland, Morgan Anne Hilton of Lebanon, Paul Anthony Meunier II of Springfield, and Mallory Barbara Brothers (Bo) of Richland. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren—Madi, Reece, Bernie, Genny, Cory, Russell, and Maeve—along with her siblings, Pam Livingston, Fred Wellhausen, and Joni Klemp, and several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

In response to Beth’s passing, the community has expressed an outpouring of sympathy and support on social media. Guila Hobaugh prayed for "peace, comfort, and strength" for the family, while Katie Sanders and Beth Hardesty both extended their heartfelt condolences. Monica Smith and Paula Long Weber also offered their prayers and sympathies, with Weber adding, "Hugs and prayers for the family." The sentiment was echoed by many others, including Arthur Alexander and Janet York, who shared their sorrow and condolences for Beth’s loved ones.

As a way to honor Beth’s memory, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to a charitable organization of their choosing, rather than sending flowers. Donations can be left at the Richland Memorial Chapel.

Beth’s passing marks a significant loss for the Richland community, where she was cherished by many. The collective grief and support shown by her family, friends, and neighbors underscore the impact she had on those around her.
