Community Pleads for Information in the Search for Missing Teen Anthony Torres in Lancaster, California

Lancaster, California – The community is rallying to find 14-year-old Anthony Torres, who was reported missing on August 9, 2024. According to his family, Anthony was last seen in his room, and despite numerous attempts, they have been unable to reach him.

Anthony is described as 5’6" tall, weighing 130 pounds, with dark hair. Authorities believe he could be in the areas of Palmdale, Lancaster, or Los Angeles, California. His family has filed a missing person’s report with the Lancaster Sheriff’s Department and is pleading for the public’s help in locating him.

In a heartfelt plea shared through the Antelope Valley Chronicles, Anthony’s family wrote, "I have filed a missing person’s report with the police and am reaching out to you in the hopes that someone may have information regarding his whereabouts. Please contact me or the police immediately if you have any information. PLEASE SHARE!!!!”

The family urges anyone with information to contact them directly or reach out to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Department at 661-492-4489 or 661-948-8466.

On Facebook, many community members have shared their thoughts and prayers for Anthony and his family. One commenter, Saman Syah, expressed the collective concern by writing, “So sad…! Prayers for his family.”
