Community Rallies to Find Michael McDonough, Missing in Hope Valley, Rhode Island

Hope Valley, Rhode Island – The community is urgently searching for Michael McDonough, 61, who has been missing for almost 24 hours. Michael was last seen driving a Blue 2016 Toyota Corolla with Rhode Island license plate 386-887. He was last spotted in the Soap House Lane area of Hope Valley, RI. His daughter, Erin McDonough, is leading the search effort, appealing to the public for any information that could help bring her father home safely.

Erin McDonough shared a heartfelt post on Facebook, asking everyone to screenshot and share her message to widen the search. "My Dad Michael McDonough has been missing for almost 24 hours. He’s driving a Blue 2016 Toyota Corolla with the RI license plate 386-887. Please screenshot and share this post to help spread the word. Everyone who loves him needs him home safe," Erin wrote.

The post has garnered numerous responses from friends and community members offering their support and prayers.

Karen Pannone Cuttle commented, "I’m so sorry, honey! Sending positive thoughts." Another friend, Victoria Hazard, shared, "I know how this feels honey. I’ll be on the lookout and praying."

The concern for Michael’s safety is shared by many, with Debbie Holbrook expressing, "So sorry Erin. Prayers to you and your family for your dad’s safe return home." Similarly, Shannon Donnelly added, "I’m so sorry Erin. I hope he’s found safe and returns home quickly!"

The Richmond Police Department has declared Michael McDonough an endangered missing person. They urge anyone with information to contact either Erin McDonough at (401)-525-1151 or the Richmond Police Department at (401)-539-8289.

As the search continues, the community remains hopeful that Michael McDonough will be found safe and reunited with his family soon.
