Community Rallies to Locate 16-Year-Old Gilda Nayah, Missing from Mile 4 Nkwen, Bamenda

Bamenda, Cameroon – The community of Mile 4 Nkwen in Bamenda is deeply concerned as they search for 16-year-old Gilda Nayah, who has been missing since Sunday, August 4, 2024. Gilda was last seen leaving her home in Njengang Quarter, and her current whereabouts remain unknown.

A missing person alert was issued by Mimi Mefo Info, urging anyone with information to come forward. The alert has mobilized the community, and many have taken to Facebook to share their prayers and hopes for Gilda’s safe return.

Fai Comfort expressed her concern, writing, “Father bring this child back home safely.” Angel Rhema added, “Father Lord please bring her back home healthy n strong. Amen.”

Others, like Sirrishu Violet, shared their hopes for her safety: “I pray she is fine wherever she is,” while Glo Vernyuy echoed, “Oh God I pray she’s safe.”

Some community members speculated on her whereabouts. Banfogha Salifu suggested, “She has just gone for a business trip, she is just trying to get one or two items for her school needs. God protect and guide her home safely in Jesus’ name. Amen.” Ondong Daniel Akim added, “She will come very soon. Bamenda is too hot; she went to cool her head.”
