Community Urged to Help Locate 12-Year-Old Nanci Zepeda, Missing from Northwest Washington, DC

Washington, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department is urgently seeking public assistance in the search for 12-year-old Nanci Zepeda, who was last seen on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in the 1500 block of Meridian Place, Northwest. The department reported the incident on August 16, 2024.

Nanci Zepeda, a Hispanic female with a light complexion, is described as 4’11" tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue dress and red shoes. The police have classified her case as a critical missing person and have mobilized the Youth and Family Services Division to lead the investigation.

The police are urging anyone with information on Nanci’s whereabouts to come forward. They can contact the Youth and Family Services Division at (202) 576-6768, the Real-Time Crime Center at (202) 727-9099, or submit tips anonymously via the department’s text tip line by messaging 50411.

On social media, community members have expressed their concern. A Facebook user named Keyate Kapri posted, "Contact PUNDITSUPPORT on Instagram; he is a pure genius, and he will definitely help you find her," reflecting the growing anxiety and desire for Nanci’s safe return.

The police and Nanci’s family deeply appreciate any support and cooperation from the community in their efforts to locate her.
