Kihoya, Kangema Constituency – The family of Mr. James Mwathi Thuo, who has been missing since Monday, August 12th, 2024, is pleading for public assistance in locating him. Mr. Thuo was last seen in Kihoya, a region within the Kangema Constituency, and his sudden disappearance has left his loved ones and the community deeply concerned.
Hon. Sabina Wanjiru wa Chege, a prominent figure, shared the alert on social media, urging anyone with information about Mr. Thuo’s whereabouts to come forward. She requested that anyone with clues contact her office, the nearest police station, or Mr. Thuo’s sister, Hon. Esther Gathogo, who can be reached at the provided contact number.
The Kenya Police Service and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have also been notified, and efforts are underway to trace Mr. Thuo. The community and religious organizations, including the ACK Diocese of Mt Kenya Central, have joined the search, hoping for a positive outcome.
The news has prompted an outpouring of support on social media, with many sharing their prayers and well-wishes for Mr. Thuo’s safe return. “We trust he is well. May God be with him,” wrote Them Mukonos. Another concerned individual, Hellen Wambui, echoed this sentiment, saying, “May God protect him.”
The case has sparked discussions about the possible causes of Mr. Thuo’s disappearance. Peter Kuluo suggested, “If the missing person was in his sound mind and in a stable relationship at the time of his disappearing & the sister is a Hon & at the same time contact person, the first thing that should be investigated is the relationship & bond that was there.”
