Concern Grows for Missing Elderly Woman Zoila Palencia in Red Cedar; Community Rallies for Her Safe Return

Red Cedar, Pennsylvania – The community is on high alert as efforts intensify to locate 77-year-old Zoila Palencia, who has been missing since Sunday. Palencia, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with buttons, sweatpants, Sketchers shoes, and carrying a market bag.

Her disappearance has sparked concern across the community, with many taking to social media to raise awareness and coordinate search efforts. One of the most active voices has been Lily Hatton, who posted on Facebook, "Hi friends! I am asking Facebook friends, especially in Red Cedar, to keep your eyes out for Zoila Palencia. She is a friend’s grandma. If you happen to see her, please reach out to the numbers on the pictures! Her family is worried! Prayers go a long way too."

Support for the search has been widespread, with other community members expressing their hopes for Palencia’s safe return. "Oh no, I hope she’s brought home safe," wrote Sam Laidler. Meanwhile, Gabriela Medina added her prayers, sharing, "I hope she is found safely very soon."

The Silver Lake Nature Center has also joined the effort, urging anyone with information to contact the authorities immediately. They posted, "Please contact the phone numbers listed if you see Zoila Palencia. We hope she is found safely very soon."

Local authorities, including Bucks County Parks and Recreation and Bucks County Government, are involved in the search. The community remains hopeful and united in their efforts to find Zoila Palencia and bring her back to her worried family.
