Concern Grows for Missing Jordan McBride in Cumbernauld as Police Appeal for Public Assistance

Cumbernauld, Scotland – Authorities are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jordan McBride, 35, who has been missing from the Cumbernauld area since Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. Police Scotland Lanarkshire has issued a public appeal for any information that could aid in locating Jordan.

Jordan was last seen leaving an address in Cumbernauld around 6:00 PM on the day of his disappearance. Subsequent investigations suggest he was in the Monklands area of Airdrie at approximately 8:40 AM the following morning, Thursday, August 8th, 2024. Since then, there has been no further sighting of him.

Described as 6 feet tall with a slim build, brown hair, and brown/green eyes, Jordan’s prolonged absence has raised significant concern among his family and the wider community. Police are urging anyone who may have seen Jordan or who has relevant information to contact them via 101, quoting incident number 1620 of 18/08/24.

The news of Jordan’s disappearance has prompted an outpouring of support and concern on social media. Ann Campbell expressed her hopes on Facebook, saying, "Hope he’s found safe and soon. Shared in Airdrie." Similarly, Ann Millar added, "Hope Jordan is found soon n back with his family where he belongs."

Other community members have also been sharing posts and updates, with Kirsty Robertson noting she has shared the information within the Airdrie area. Andy Mccluskey offered a simple but heartfelt prayer, "Lord keep him safe."

Authorities continue to investigate and search for Jordan, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. The community remains hopeful for his safe return, and the police are committed to following all leads in this ongoing search.
