Cyrille Mitchel Jr., Beloved Husband from Baytown, Texas, Passes Away; Family Organizes Celebration of Life Fundraiser

Baytown, Texas – Cyrille Mitchel Jr., affectionately known as "CJ," passed away on August 19, 2024, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow. Cyrille’s wife, Katina Mitchel, shared the heartbreaking news and is now organizing a fundraiser to honor his memory.

Katina Mitchel has launched a GoFundMe campaign titled "Support Cyrille Mitchel Jr.’s Celebration of Life" to raise funds for a memorial event in line with Cyrille’s wishes. As of now, the fundraiser has collected $375 from three donors, with a goal of $25,000. The donors include P. Wincess Elias-Brown, who contributed $200, and Julia Elias, who gave $150.

In her heartfelt message on the fundraiser page, Katina expressed gratitude for the support received during this challenging time. She acknowledged that even though the family anticipated Cyrille’s passing, the loss has been profoundly painful. Katina emphasized the importance of honoring Cyrille’s wishes through a celebration of life, a tribute to his impact on those around him.

Katina urged friends and family to refrain from posting about Cyrille’s passing on social media, requesting privacy during this period of grief. She also thanked everyone who has reached out to offer support and asked for donations, no matter the size, to help make the memorial event possible.
