Dennis, affectionately known as "Zamp," was a beloved member of his family and community. He worked for about five years at Appliance Wholesalers, where he was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. His unexpected death has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew him.

In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Kristin Allmon on behalf of Dennis’s wife, Catherine Zampitella, to help the family navigate the financial challenges that accompany such a sudden loss. The fundraiser has raised $1,750 of its $5,000 goal so far, with donations pouring in from friends and colleagues who admired Dennis.

The news of Dennis’s passing has elicited an outpouring of grief and support on social media. Harry J Sheing Jr. expressed his disbelief, commenting, "I can not believe the news, Zamp was a great friend!!! I’m so sorry to hear this news." Bill Dudziak added, "My condolences. My love goes with you." Frank Ferrara also shared his sorrow, stating, "This is shocking news… so sad… I’m so sorry for your loss… God bless you and your family."

Others, like Santo Albright, remembered Dennis fondly, saying, "Omg im so sorry he was such a great guy," and promising to help in any way possible. Dave DiCamillo reflected on Dennis’s vibrant personality, calling him "One of the funniest and musical friends I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and knowing."
