Desperate Search Continues for Matthew Wallace Kiss, Missing in British Columbia and Alberta, Pleads Mother Debbie Seddon

Matthew Wallace Kiss, originally from Eastern Canada, has been missing for three years after he ventured out to British Columbia. His mother, Debbie Seddon, has taken to social media to express her deep concern and desperation as she continues the search for her son.

Matthew, who also goes by the name Matthew Seddon, left his home three years ago to explore opportunities in British Columbia. Initially, he kept in touch with his family through occasional text messages, but communication abruptly stopped after a few months. Since then, there has been no contact from Matthew, leaving his family in a state of anguish.

Debbie Seddon shared her plea on Facebook, hoping to reach out to anyone who might have seen or heard from her son. She highlighted the unusual nature of Matthew’s sudden silence, describing it as "extremely out of character." Despite her relentless efforts, the authorities have been unable to assist significantly, citing the lack of recent sightings of Matthew.

Debbie’s post reads, "Our son left home three years ago and flew out west to B.C. He kept very basic contact for a few months and then simply stopped. We have been looking since he left, and have had no help from police as nobody has ‘had eyes on him’ since he landed in Vancouver (he may be in Victoria)."

She continued, "I know he is an adult and is fully capable of making his own life choices. I’m not about to fly out there, grab him by the arm, and insist he come home. I just need to know he is safe, happy, surrounded by people who genuinely care about him. And alive. I need to know my son is alive."

In a heartfelt comment, Heide E Larsen, sharing for Debbie, wrote, "Matthew Wallace Kiss is his full name, and he has not been heard from in 3 years! Today is the day to hope, today is the day to post. If you have seen him or you know him, PLEASE have him contact his family. We miss him dearly and need to hear from him and know all is well."

The post continues to circulate widely on social media, with Debbie urging people in British Columbia and Alberta to share Matthew’s picture and story within their local communities, churches, and networks. Her message reflects a mother’s unyielding hope and the desperate need for any information that could lead to her son’s whereabouts.

As the search for Matthew Wallace Kiss continues, his family remains hopeful that someone, somewhere, will come forward with information that will bring their son back to them, or at the very least, provide the peace of knowing he is safe.
