Kingston, NY – The community of Kingston is mourning the loss of Dimitra Kalamaras, who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on August 13, 2024. Dimitra was a beloved figure in the area, known for her warmth, kindness, and deep love for her family and friends.
Dimitra Kalamaras was more than just a resident of Kingston; she was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. The wake will be held on Friday, August 23rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 24th, at 10:00 a.m. at Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church, also in Poughkeepsie, with the burial taking place at Linlithgo Reformed Church of Livingston in Hudson, NY. A reception will be held afterward at the Son’s & Daughter’s of Italy in Hudson.
