Ripley County, Missouri – On Saturday, August 17, 2024, a tragic accident claimed the life of Joseph L. St. Cin, 35, from Doniphan, Missouri. The fatal crash occurred on Route U, approximately four miles south of Doniphan, around 5:20 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Joseph L. St. Cin was driving a 2001 Toyota Camry southbound when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and overturned. St. Cin, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car during the rollover.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and St. Cin was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Despite efforts to save him, Dr. Strane pronounced him dead at 6:36 p.m.
This incident marks the 41st traffic fatality for Troop E in 2024. The vehicle involved was deemed totaled and was removed from the crash site by JR’s Towing. The community mourns the loss of Joseph L. St. Cin, who was well-known in Doniphan.
