Dorset Police Appeal for Public Assistance in Locating Missing Man Jage Parker-Smith, Last Seen in Upton Country Park

Poole, Dorset – Dorset Police are urgently appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of 23-year-old Jage Parker-Smith, who was last seen on the morning of Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Upton Country Park. Concerns have been raised for Jage’s welfare due to his vulnerable status, prompting an extensive search by local authorities.

Jage Parker-Smith is described as being five feet six inches tall with short mousey brown or blonde hair and stubble. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark blue jumper, a dark green T-shirt, and dark blue jogging bottoms.

Inspector Steve Hughes of Dorset Police expressed the urgency of the situation, stating, “Jage is a vulnerable individual and we are concerned for his welfare. We are carrying out searches and are keen to find him and make sure he is all right. I would urge anyone who has any information regarding Jage’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given in the area of Upton Country Park to please contact us immediately.”

The police have requested that anyone with information contact Dorset Police through their website or by calling 101, quoting incident number 10:247.

The news of Jage’s disappearance has led to an outpouring of support and concern on social media. Many people have taken to Facebook to share their thoughts and hopes for his safe return. Jan Maunders commented, "Hope he’s found safe and well soon," while Catherine Young echoed the sentiment, writing, "Shared, hope he is found very soon." Rebecca Goodall, who identified herself as Jage’s sister-in-law, posted, "This is my husband’s brother, if there are any updates, can someone please message me, his brother is worried about him and we would both appreciate the updates." In a more recent update, Rebecca confirmed, "He’s been found!"

The local community remains on high alert as they await further updates from the authorities.
