Douglas, Georgia – The family of Antonio Islas Rodriguez has launched a fundraiser to support unexpected medical and funeral expenses following his recent passing. Antonio, affectionately known as "Toñito," was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many in the community. He was known for his ability to light up a room with laughter and his humble, hardworking nature.
Denise Rodriguez, who is organizing the fundraiser, described Antonio as someone who always kept everyone entertained and on their toes. His loss has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
As of today, the GoFundMe campaign has raised $255 out of its $10,000 goal, with contributions from five donors. Brianna Sanchez donated $100, Thao Tran gave $50, Justin Nieves contributed $50, Daniel Rodriguez donated $50, and Diego Albores-Conde added $5.
The community has also shared their thoughts and support on Facebook. Francisco Islas expressed his condolences, joining others in mourning Antonio’s loss.
The family is grateful for the support they have received so far and hopes to reach their goal to cover the costs associated with Antonio’s passing.
