Woodland Hills, California – Dr. Hamid Mirshojae, a respected physician at Warner Plaza Medical Center, was tragically shot and killed outside his clinic on Friday evening. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, just south of Oxnard Street, as Dr. Mirshojae was walking to his car.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division, Dr. Mirshojae was shot multiple times in what appears to be a targeted attack. Several bullet casings were found at the scene, indicating that multiple shots were fired. The suspect, who has not yet been described, is believed to have fled the scene on foot.
The shooting has left the Woodland Hills community in shock, with residents expressing concerns about safety in the area. Dr. Mirshojae was known for his dedication to his patients, and his death has deeply affected his colleagues and the community he served.
