El Paso, TX – The community is mourning the sudden and unexpected passing of 16-year-old Kara Ramirez. Kara, who was under the care of her grandmother, tragically passed away just as she was preparing to enter Job Corps. Her untimely death has left her family and friends devastated.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized by Kara’s close friend, Sarah Chavez, to help cover the funeral expenses. The campaign, titled "Support Kara Ramirez’s Funeral Expenses," has a goal of raising $5,000. So far, $195 has been raised through four donations, with contributions from individuals including Dan Taylor and Sofia Wilson.
Sarah Chavez, who organized the fundraiser, shared on the campaign page, “My best friend Kara Ramirez just passed away very unexpectedly. She was only 16 years old and was soon going to go to Job Corps. Her grandmother had custody of her and needs financial help for the funeral expenses. Anything helps. Thank you.”
