Elmsford, New York – Mary Nieciecka, a 58-year-old resident of Elmsford, tragically lost her life on Saturday evening in a pedestrian accident. According to the Elmsford Police Department, the incident occurred on West Main Street near the Eldorado Diner.
Officer Thomas Proscia reported that Nieciecka was crossing the road when she was struck by a car. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated fully with the authorities.
